Local Residents Receive $90,000 in Grants at Health Foundation's Concern Awards Luncheon
MIAMI, FL- Health Foundation of South Florida recently honored six individuals for efforts to enhance the health and well being of our community at the sixth annual Concern Awards luncheon. Janvier Gasana, M.D. and Peggy Sapp received the top honors as the 2007 Concern Award winners. They each received a $25,000 grant for their nonprofit organizations. read more

LOCAL RESIDENTS RECEIVE $100,000 IN GRANTS AT HEALTH FOUNDATION’S CONCERN AWARDS LUNCHEON
Health Foundation of South Florida recently honored six individuals and one new organization for efforts to enhance the health and well being of people in Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties at the highly-acclaimed community event, the Concern Awards luncheon. Michael Aptman, M.D. and Fatima Zafar, M.D. received the top honors as the 2006 Concern Award winners. They each received a $25,000 grant for their nonprofit organizations.
