Health Foundation of South Florida’s 2019 grant cycle is now closed. We would like to thank all the community partners who applied for support this year.
For several months now, the Foundation team has been undergoing a strategic assessment and planning process, and we are currently working to identify new focus areas and goals for 2020 and beyond. We expect to unveil this new direction in January 2020. As part of our process, we have been and continue to work with South Florida’s health and community leaders to help inform our new strategy and to ensure we leverage our resources in the most impactful way.
While our focus may shift, we remain as dedicated as ever to the long-term impact we seek to accomplish: to improve individual and community well-being in our region, especially among low-income and minority communities. As a new decade approaches, with new challenges and opportunities, we’re especially excited to advance our mission as well as the critical work of our partners.
As we have always done, we will continue considering and supporting responsive and emerging needs. Please note that the upcoming changes will not impact current grantees. If you have questions about an existing grant, please contact your program liaison directly. If you have a general question, please email Grants & Programs Associate Any Balza at ABalza@hfsf.org.
