Robert Wood Johnson Foundation/National Recreation and Park Association Award for Health Equity by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) (2016)
Health Foundation of South Florida President & CEO Steven Marcus received this award that is annually presented to five individuals and five agencies across the U.S. to honor their efforts—both professional and personal—in the field of parks and recreation.
Florida Council on Aging Senior Vision Media Award (2014)
For promotional campaigns in support of older adults, including “Older Adults Rock. But They Don’t Have to Roll.”
Alliance for Aging Media Award (2013)
Award was in recognition of work that brought to light areas impacting the lives of older adults in Miami-Dade County.
Grantmakers in Health, Emerging Leaders in Health Philanthropy (2012)
Associate Vice President Programs, Policy and Special Initiatives Dr. Janisse Rosario-Schoepp was named Fellow of the Terrance Keenan Institute for Emerging Leaders in Health Philanthropy.
National Council on Aging Arthur Fleming Award (2011)
The Award recognizes contributions that have dramatically improved the lives of older Americans, and Health Foundation’s work in establishing powerful partnerships that build bridges between the public and private sector so that older persons are better able to weather the hazards and vicissitudes of life.
